About Me

Once, I was just like anyone else. I was a small, measly child, stuck in a questionable elementary school. But I had dreams. Dreams of silly little stories in my head. Dreams that would soon, one day, make me an

ENGLISH MAJOR!

But, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. I’m still a kid at this point (in the narrative, not literally). I’m still playing with Legos at the time, which might be a good sign of things to come, honestly.

I would say that Legos served to dramatically foreshadow my interest in creative writing due to the whole “creative toy” thing, which led to me being an english major, but in all honesty my parents just did what a lot of parents did and bought me legos.

Did it spark my creativity in any way? Maybe.

So, when I was a kid, I used to have silly little daydreams all the time. Now, some may say that this is a sign of something serious, like undiagnosed ADHD, but I say that this is foreshadowing of me being a writer!

The daydreaming was very dependent on what I was into at the time. If I was into legos at the time, then the characters in the daydreams were little lego men. If I was playing a videogame at the time, then it would have various characters from the game.

Eventually, I began daydreaming about things that were entirely original. I would create characters and worlds and would set the characters in the worlds off to do whatever they had to do. Somewhere along the line, I realized: I could just write these stories down! And I could be a writer!

So, when I eventually grew up, and applied for college, I applied as an English Major! (At least for UGA and Emory, I applied to Tech as something else). I am thankful that I got waitlisted for Tech, though, as now I can learn about English at UGA!

And now, I’m at UGA, having the time of my life! I’m in the middle of my degree, happier than ever, and surrounded by friends!

Also, I eventually did get diagnosed with ADHD. Oops!
